    "content": "Just one more minute, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I have said it here before that when police officers, in their line of duty and in protecting their lives, gun down thugs, the civil society in Kenya is always condemning them. I would want the civil society in Kenya to note and appreciate that policemen and women are also Kenyans with families and when thugs kill them, the thugs should similarly be condemned. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, as I conclude, I urge the Government to provide the police with the necessary tools such as vehicles, proper housing and modern arms, so that they can tackle crime. With those remarks, I support and urge the House to approve the appointment of Mr. Kimaiyo and his team."
