    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 8 be amended- (a) by deleting sub clause (2), and substituting with the following- (2) A person shall be qualified for appointment under subsection (1) if the person- (a) holds a minimum of a first degree in pharmacy; (b) holds a postgraduate degree in business management or postgraduate training in supplies management; (c) posses at least five years experience in senior management; (d) satisfies the requirement of chapter six of the Constitution; (b) in sub clause (3)- (i) by deleting the word “ex-official” appearing in paragraph (a) and substituting therefor the word “ex-officio”; (ii) by deleting paragraph (c) and substituting therefor the following new paragraph- (c) subject to the directions of the Board, be responsible for- (i) day-to-day running and operation of the Authority; (ii) administration, organization and control of staff of the Authority; (iii) management of funds, property and affairs of the Authority; (iv) implementation of policies and programmes of the Authority and reporting thereon on the Board;"
