    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I would like also to support this Bill. For those of us who come from disadvantaged regions or marginalized areas, we do appreciate and understand the unique role and function of a chief. Those of us who remember the history of this country need to look back. One of the principles that the colonialists used was direct administration that took into account the presence and the functions of village elders. This is what we have domesticated in our current statutes. I cannot imagine life in our villages without chiefs."
