People must know that when they go to the chiefs there is security. So, we would like the Minister to allocate a minimum of six Administration Police officers to every chief’s camp, so that they are able to sort out problems of security which is crucial. Why do we have security problems in Tana River and other places? It is because the chiefs have not been empowered and properly coordinated to be able to take care of security in those areas. We have the Equalization Fund for the next 20 years to take off marginalized communities left behind. Therefore, we need chiefs in those communities for the next 100 years."
