    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Bill that will soon be before this House has addressed the issue of compensation. Compensation in the old Act was very low and we have raised compensation for injury and death. We have also included in it destruction to crops and property; if an animal destroys crops, the crops will be valued and compensation will be paid accordingly. Therefore, this will not be a problem any more. But this does not mean that the increase in wildlife-human conflict is because of compensation. I have already stated why there is an increase in the human-wildlife conflict."
