"content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise to support this Procedural Motion. I would like to appeal to hon. Members, as you can see on the Order Paper, we have a lot of work to do. I am sure that hon. Members should appreciate the fact that they, too, would like to finish the business of this House and proceed to their constituencies to campaign for their re-election. I believe that the reason as to why the House Business Committee proposed this Procedural Motion is so that we can do two things; accomplish the work before us in the House and give ourselves time and, after accomplishing this work, to go and campaign. Mr. Speaker, Sir, if we do not extend our sitting time, it means that the House will have to sit until 14th January, 2013, when the life of the Tenth Parliament comes to an end. That will not be doing a lot of service to hon. Members. So, we are trying to serve the interests of hon. Members as well as the interests of the Kenyan public, which, of course, applauses this House for having passed so many Bills in its life and setting the record in the history of Parliament. At the same time, we should not spoil that record by not completing the task before us before the Tenth Parliament comes to an end. So, I would like to plead with hon. Members to support this Motion and rise to the occasion. I beg to support."
