    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to support this Motion on the appointment of the chairman and members of the Public Service Commission. First, I would like to congratulate the selection panel because they did a good job. I would also like to congratulate the Committee on Administration and National Security for forwarding these names and upholding the views of the selection panel. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, the PSC is one Commission that requires people who are performers and people who are experienced. You cannot just have people who do not have experience being in the PSC. I would like to congratulate the panel and Committee also for recognizing the gender issue. I know the lady who has been nominated to be Chair has already turned around the Kenya Institute of Administration (KIA) which is now the Kenya School of Government. It is the time we gave accolades to our ladies especially those performing well. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, if you even move around the country and see what is happening at Kenyatta University where we have Prof. Mugenda who is doing a stunning job; it is time we gave ladies in particular time to show what they can do for Kenyans."
