(a) I am aware that the catchment area of Murung Dam receives most of its water from Lelan area, which covers part of West Pokot and Marakwet West Constituency. However, Murung Dam is still under design and construction has not started. (b) I am not aware that the residents of Marakwet West Constituency living near the catchment area of the dam have been left out of the water supply arrangements."
