"content": "(1) The budget ceiling for each constituency shall be determined in accordance with the basis for allocating resources among counties approved by Parliament pursuant to Article 217 of the Constitution; (1A) Further to sub-section (1), the budget ceiling for each constituency shall be determined by the Cabinet Secretary in consultation with the Joint Committee and shall be submitted to Parliament for approval. (b) in sub-section (2) by deleting the words “the Senate Committee” and substituting therefor the words “the Joint Committee” Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, this is just to use the formula that we had been given by the CRA for approving the allocations."
