    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 24 be amended- (a) by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after sub-clause (2)- (2A) The eight persons referred to in sub-clause 2 (b) (c) (d) and (e) shall be nominated through the following procedure- (a) within forty-five days of being sworn in, each Member of Parliament for a particular constituency shall convene open public meetings of registered voters in each of the elective wards in the constituency; (b) each ward shall then elect five persons whose names shall be forwarded to the officer of the Board in the constituency; (c) upon receiving the names from all the wards in the constituency, the Member of Parliament in consultation with the officer of the Board and the sub-county administrator for the constituency, shall appoint eight persons to the Board, taking into account the geographical diversity within the constituency, communal, religious, social and cultural"
