"content": "choices in the light of day and the darkness of the night and make sure that they can live by the consequences of the choices that they make. Hon. Members, economic and cultural rights are realizable with the advent of the new Constitution. I think we should just continue pushing hard. Extra vigilance is required. Before I came to Parliament, I had the privilege of working in northern Kenya, shores of Lake Turkana and the amount of poverty that Kenyans live in is unacceptable 50 years after Independence. The amount of insecurity like what happened in Baragoi are things I have experienced firsthand and I think it is unacceptable; 50 years after Independence for Kenyans to be subjects of cattle rustling. We must do our very best as a country to make sure that Kenya is safe and secure for everyone else where people live in dignity. Lastly, my fellow countrymen devolution brings us a chance to realize our rights. I would like to request everybody to stick to the various facets of this Constitution and make demands of their leaders unlike the postage stamp, let them stick to issues until they realize their economic and cultural rights to live in dignity. God Bless all and God Bless Kenya. Thank you very much."
