    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to strongly support this Motion. It is important that we realize the opportunity that is there in expanding Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). This will very easily make our airport the hub of international travel in this country. It is only through this kind of funding that as we make it the hub of international travel, it will be competitive, secure and make sure that the process of doing that business is also profitable. Finally, it will create job opportunities for our youth. We cannot just sit back and let this opportunity pass through our fingers. Those of you who have travelled in the region have seen what has happened at Kigali. Within a very short time, Rwanda has a very nice international airport. What a shame it is that the founding father of the nation, President Kenyatta, is the one who had the vision that we are seeing today. Where was Mr. Moi? What did he do? How come President Kibaki; the great economist, has not seen the wisdom to do what he is attempting to do now? I look forward to the next President opening up that opportunity. I support."
