"content": " Mr. Chairman, Sir, I know that I supported. I could see the earlier logic of hon. Keynan but, coming to the Schedule, I can see confusion between wanting to maintain the status quo and wanting to go forward. The current situation, where we have the Security and Foreign Affairs Committee as one is totally different from the new constitutional dispensation. All the security organs have now been classified as one within the Constitution. That includes the intelligence service, the national police and defence forces. It is put very clearly within the Constitution what constitutes the national security organs. Mixing the national security organs with foreign affairs matters, which include trade matters, among others, is going a bit too far. So, I actually support and I want to applaud the Committee that looked at this matter and put these organs in the Second Schedule, including defence, intelligence and the police service, exactly as they are in our Constitution."
