Duale, I was privileged, indeed, to be here when we conducted the same ceremony at the start of the Tenth Parliament. There was a lot of acrimony and we spent almost two hours arguing about the procedures before we went on. This is a very big day. People all over the country are watching to see their Members of Parliament and representatives taking the oath of office. This day is reserved specifically for two assignments only, namely, for us to take the oath of office and to elect the Speaker of the National Assembly.
