(a) The construction of Syomakanda/Syotuvali Bridge has not been started because the Ministry has not been able to take on board these projects and several other projects in the country as a result of the pressing financial needs of the ongoing projects funded under the Development Budget. (b) My Ministry, through the Kenya Rural Roads Authority, plans to undertake the project in the coming 2011/2012 Financial Year."
