In the same breath, I want to thank the former Prime Minister for maintaining peace by recognizing the Supreme Court ruling and accepting the results though they have been contested. We will, as CORD, follow this matter to see whether or not we can reconstitute the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to ensure that there is fairness in future. Hon. Speaker, Sir, the Presidential Address said that we should respect, uphold and defend the Constitution. As CORD Members, we would like to see what the President will do with the County Commissioners because they are not within the provisions of our Constitution."
