    "content": "Furthermore, Parliament has since become an integral part of the budget making process. Public participation in the legislative processes is now entrenched in our rules, as it is indeed, in our Constitution. We have no choice but to adhere to them. We have to not only view the public, the media and private sector as partners, but we must also regard them as such. As we are assigned to the committees in the coming days, I urge you to offer candid and responsible oversight on the Executive. In this regard, I urge political party leaderships in the House to move with speed to commence the processes of constituting committees. My office will be open to offer necessary guidance where it is required."
