    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to ask the Minister for Energy the following Question by Private Notice. (a) Is the Minister aware that the Kenya Power and Lighting Company has commenced rationing electricity supply to most industrial parts in the country with effect from 27th July, 2011 and, if so, what are the reasons for the rationing? (b) What mitigation measures are in place to cushion businesses against losses occasioned by the exercise? (c) What long-term measures does the Government have to ensure that the country attains sufficient energy supply?"
