    "content": "This is a very important Committee on procedure and rules. We brought this Committee for approval by the House after wide consultations with the Committee on Selection. It has a mandate to place Members in various committees in consultation with the Speaker, Deputy Speaker and the management of Parliament. We have come to a conclusion that we need to amend our Standing Orders to ensure that each of all the 349 Members of this House belong to one Departmental Committee."
