    "content": "Secondly, we should concentrate on the recruitment of teachers. I did a quick survey in my constituency of about 48,000 pupils. I realized that my constituents, particularly parents, are paying up to Kshs2.5 million a month for teachers. This means that we are a bit understaffed by 241 teachers. If this is an example of what is happening in Kenya then free primary school education has no meaning. I would like to urge that as we move forward, and take our country to the digital age, we should look at the issue of shortage of teachers, otherwise we are burdening our parents."
