Speaker, Sir, this is a right given by the Constitution, and I would urge all of us in this House to guard it with jealousy and ensure that nobody else outside this House takes away any part of this right. I say so because many of us should be aware that the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) has attempted, in their legal notice, to restrict the number of sittings this House can have. That is my view. It is illegal, unconstitutional and at the right time we are going to address it exhaustively. For now I wish to reiterate what hon. Dr. Eseli has said.
