    "content": "In Lamu County, a report cites that patients who needed to be referred to Coast Provincial Hospital in Mombasa were reportedly required to pay between Kshs8,000 and Kshs10,000. People have to look for very expensive means of transport to access emergency treatment where there are no ambulances, like in northern Kenya. For example, in Wajir and Marsabit, people use very expensive taxes or camels to go to hospitals."
