    "content": "A few weeks ago, I requested your guidance on the Selection Committee and how it will go about the business of constituting the Committees. The Standing Orders have not given direction on how the Selection Committee should do that. As hon. Midiwo has noted, if you go to Standing Order No.1(2), it states that:- “(2) The decisions made in paragraph (1) shall be based on the Constitution of Kenya, statute law and the usages, forms, precedents, customs, procedures and traditions of the Parliament of Kenya and other jurisdictions to the extent that these are applicable to Kenya”."
