"content": "Hon. Speaker, Sir, the other one is on the statement that he made with regard to the security situation in the country. I believe that the police force is at its lowest in terms of morale. I believe I would not personally attribute the rise in crime in the country to equipment. It is the personnel themselves. What is the Government going to do in terms of boosting morale in the police force, especially in terms of their remuneration? Last year, there was a circular that was issued by the Ministry of Public Service on when the police officers increased salaries were supposed to have been in place. This has never been implemented; it is something that is in these police officers. They could be on a go slow when we are really not aware. We want you to address these things."
