    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, you will realise that life expectancy has increased in this part of Africa. Before, people used to expire by the age of 40 or 50. Today, people are having a longer time to live. They have more things to do. We want these old people to be kept busy because somebody retires at the age of 55 and he is still strong. He can provide leadership. He can provide certain services. We have many teachers who have retired who are just languishing in the village drinking very badly because they have nothing else to do. We can re-employ these teachers. We can give them some little salary over and above the pension they are earning and they can contribute to the society."
