Many people are not performing their night obligations and it is very dangerous. I want to say that the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) in this country must be empowered. It must be empowered by all and sundry. Right from school people must be taught how to save. That way, in old age we can have some money to sustain our people. Today, anybody who is told to save money is like he is being punished. We want the National Social Security Fund to grow, so that when the Government wants to borrow some money it does not need to go abroad, or to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or the World Bank. It can simply get money from the NSSF; NSSF money can be used to develop roads in all parts of the country. At the end of the day, the Government will pay some interest on the loans it will have been given by the NSSF."
