    "content": "I also want to mention the freedom fighters. I have got quite a number of them. They are over 80 years. I can tell you that this is another lot that is suffering. The Government should do something about these freedom fighters. There are those who were there before some of us were born and they, indeed, fought for Uhuru . They have been neglected. They are the same people who are looking for assistance from us. Let the Government go through the Provincial Administration, which still exists, to be able to know who actually fought for Uhuru for our country. These people have been neglected and they are suffering. I know an old man who comes to my place every time I go home on Friday; he asks me to give him Kshs200 for his grandchildren who were abandoned. Their parents died. He tells me he fought for Uhuru for this country and nobody knows about him. I am talking with passion, because I know these people are suffering. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, let us have a mechanism for identifying these people and give them Kshs2,500 per a month, which we all know is being given, let us not discriminate against some areas. I do hope that somebody somewhere is listening and something is going to be done to these people. I therefore support the Motion."
