    "content": "I was coming to that, hon. Speaker, Sir. This House did its bit. This Committee, through the Office of the Clerk, asked the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission whether it had anything good or bad against the nominees of the President. They said that time was too short, and they had not seen anything adverse about them. This is not a court of law. We are seeing articles in the media which are negative about the Committee. If we go this route, you will see more of them. We have a duty to this House. We were a Committee of the House, and we must protect the image of this House. Therefore, to say that we rejected Ms. Kandie for no reason is not fair."
