    "content": "Hon. Speaker, I rise to support this report. Before I go into the details of supporting this report, I just want to remind this House that we are undertaking a very historic process. This is the first time this House is getting an opportunity to undertake an exercise that brings to life Article 132 (2) of the Constitution; it says that the President shall nominate and, with approval of the National Assembly, appoint the cabinet. Therefore, we are engaged in a constitutional exercise. As we do this, this House may want to know that all the eyes of this nation are on it right now. Kenyans are watching very keenly because they do believe that we are setting a precedent. Therefore, let us put our passions, emotions and political affiliations aside. May we honour this historic moment with the seriousness it deserves?"
