    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker, for giving me time to talk on this Motion. First and foremost, we should ask ourselves why the cost of fuel is going up, and the answer lies in many factors. One factor is the weak Kenyan Shilling; this is a mistake by the Government. The Government has been quiet when the shilling has been getting weaker and weaker. This is by design, as a matter of fact. When the Government is doing that, what happens to my people in Migori? Do I let them continue suffering because the Government has decided not to play her role? This is why we are saying we must cushion our people at home against high prices. We have to cushion them against this, so that they live good lives down there."
