As the Leader of the Majority Party clarifies the role of the Members of Parliament who accompanied the Deputy President, I think it is important that this House knows that this is not the first time Members of Parliament have accompanied the Head of State or the Vice-President and Minister for Home Affairs; it has happened in the past, and now the Deputy President has done it. This has been happening unless we are saying that this House cannot participate in international matters, and that our role is just here. I think it is important that we allow the Executive to always choose whom they want to accompany them,"
