Deputy Speaker, I beg to move the following Motion:- THAT, pursuant to Article 166(1)(a) of the Constitution of Kenya and the provisions of Standing Order 45, this House adopts Report of the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs on the Vetting of Nominee for Appointment to the Position of Deputy Chief Justice, laid on the Table of the House today, Tuesday, May 28, 2013, and approves the appointment of the Hon. Lady Justice Kalpana Hasmukhrai Rawal to the position of Deputy Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya."
