    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the funding will be an issue. This Motion on cancer and renal diseases also tells the Government to wake up on a number of other aspects. It is important that with the new changes that we have now--- After talking too much, we have a new Constitution now which provides for all these. It is a wake-up call for the Government to ensure that services are delivered not only in relation to these diseases but also in other areas. I remember that during the other year’s Christmas time the Minister for Public Health visited a certain hospital and found that the doctors were not in the institution. She also found some patients lying on the floor. There was another time when we also had a problem with patients fetching water and taking it to the hospital when they went for treatment. So, this is a wake-up call to the Government now. It is good that we have separation of powers, so that we are able to see what the Executive, Parliament and the Judiciary are doing."
