Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2)(c) to request for a Ministerial Statement from the Chairperson of the Budget and Appropriations Committee regarding the establishment, composition and operation of all constitutional Commissions in Kenya. This House has a constitutional responsibility under Article 95(4)(c) to exercise oversight over national revenue and its expenditure. This is a responsibility shared with no any other institution of the Republic of Kenya."
