    "content": "Yes, indeed, hon. Speaker, Sir. The request has been directed to the Committee on Lands, which I chair. I am very happy with the direction you have already given, because it is a lot of work for the chairman, and sometimes we cannot prove that what we are saying is actually the truth. If what you have just told us is an indication of the way we will be going, then for matters to do with statements, it might be really good if they can be sorted out at the committee level. However, because the Member for Laikipa North has sought the statement and that direction had not yet been given by the Chair, I want to promise that, as we await your direction, I will sit down with the hon. Member and see if we can bring onboard the Cabinet Secretary for Lands to see if we can sort out that problem. We have also heard that the matter is in court. Therefore, we are likely to face an issue on separation of powers. That is just an indication to the hon. Member, but let him give me about two weeks, so that we may know how to navigate through it."
