    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker, Sir, for giving me the opportunity to support the Report of the Committee on Appointments. I sit in the Committee of Administration and National Security. Indeed, it was urgent that we get a substantive Cabinet Secretary for this docket for reasons in respect of which many issues have been raised. We also know that the country is under siege from criminal gangs and militias. At the moment, the docket is under a Cabinet Secretary who is serving in an acting capacity. It is high time that we got a substantive Cabinet Secretary, so that the issues that are pending in the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government are taken up with the urgency that they deserve."
