"content": "Hon. Speaker, Sir, the issues raised by the Leader of the Majority Party, on Articles 245 and 246 of the Constitution, are critical. There has been public spite, and it has been alluded to. It is, therefore, necessary that these issues are addressed urgently. The Constitution will continue to pose challenges, not just to Members of Parliament. Maybe, the reason as to why we have remained the way we are is, possibly, because of the conflict between the two constitutional commissions, namely the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) and the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC). The Committee on Administration and National Security has had time to, very briefly, discuss the matter with the Inspector-General, and the Chairman of the National Police Service Commission.
