Pursuant to Standing Order 44(2)(c), I would like to request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Committee on Energy, Communication and Information regarding the suspension of the Managing Director of Kenya Pipeline Corporation, Mr. Selest Kilinda. There are allegations that his suspension was as a result of nepotism and inefficiency witnessed at the Corporation. In his Statement, the Chairperson of the Committee should clarify whether the allegations regarding the MD’s suspension are accurate and if not, state whether the Government could consider reinstating him to his position.
