    "content": "Lastly, as the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security, we have said that there is rampant insecurity in this country. One of the issues that we got from the relevant authorities or Government agencies, especially the Inspector- General of Police and the National Police Service Commission and others is that they are not funded enough to handle the security issue. We had made a request through our Chair to the Budget Committee to consider allocating a few shillings to improve security. They have indicated the areas that need to be taken into consideration and the budget totals Kshs16 billion. I would like to urge that immediately the money is available from whichever quarter, we would like the Inspector-General of Police and others who are in charge of security to be allocated that money so that they can address the very pertinent issue of insecurity within our Republic that keeps on rising in this House."
