    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I stand to support the Motion as amended by hon. Benjamin Lang’at, my good friend and neighbour. From the outset, I want to thank the President for assenting to the Division of Revenue Bill and ensuring that Article 95(4)(a) of the Constitution is respected. Secondly, I want to thank the Committee for doing a good job. The work was done within a very short time. So, what they have done is quite commendable. There are areas of wastage, where the Committee has done some good work. For example, as a country, we should learn to avoid the idea of construction of offices when we do not need them. There are areas like irrigation in secondary schools. This is not a priority area."
