If you remember the Post-election Violence (PEV) of 2007/2008, the people who participated actively were our youth just because this is a hungry lot of people who have been used by us politicians and then dumped immediately after we have ascended to power. It is important that this segment of the population is empowered and given the mandate to operationalise this council."
