"content": "eyes of the public as very naïve. It is my submission that people take security matters for granted. The presence of security goes unnoticed. It is silent. It is only when insecurity visits a country or a community that the drama associated with it becomes very visible. That is when people wake up. It is my understanding that the NSIS, if, indeed, they have asked for the money they have been allocated ----, we have a Committee in this House. We have the Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations. During this process of budget making, the way we have set it up in the constitution, I believe that this Committee has called the NSIS officers to come before it and justify its request. If this is the case, I will be waiting."
