    "content": "Hon. Speaker, Sir, the issue raised by hon. Linturi is important. Further to his request, I would like the Chairman of the Committee to tell the House and members of the public how the Executive would wish the Office of the Auditor-General to function in the counties. The Office of the Auditor-General has been using the budget of Kshs1.8 billion to service the National Government. We now have 47 other governments. How would they wish the Office of the Auditor-General to play the oversight role over the county governments, so that we do not “export” corruption from Nairobi to the counties? Thank you, hon.
