    "content": "The Hon. Chairman of the Budget and Appropriations Committee has a duty. That duty is not that of answering to the Executive. You must engage the Executive. It is our duty to make sure that the Executive functions and that is why we are supporting the Budget. However, it will not be our duty to support the Executive as cheer leaders. It is our primary role to protect the interests of Kenyans, particularly the Kenyan worker."
