Out there, many people ask: Churches and mosques play a very big role in the lives of the people by making them responsible to positive ideas. Why can CDF funds not be used for building churches and mosques? That is a thing, as a House, we need to look into so that, if we need to bring amendments to the Act, we can do so and use some of those funds to build churches and mosques. Lastly, teachers are now relying on this House to ensure that what they have lost through three successive Governments will now be paid to them. I think the House is up to it. Last year, I was travelling to Delhi. Next to me on the flight was a deportee from Kenya who was being escorted by one police officer attached to the Immigration Department. Why then do we use funds from the public to charter a jet for somebody who should be put on trial, and then send with him a team of 12 Kenyans to escort him? Is that not an abuse of power? Somebody should explain to this House exactly what happened. Why did we have to charter a 120 passenger jet to escort one criminal? With those few remarks, I beg to support."
