As a teacher who has served in the rural areas, I have come across bright students who passed their KCPE very well but who, because they did not have people to support them, ended up not joining secondary. Some of them were even made to repeat primary school. This Motion is actually seeking to kill many birds with one stone. Parents who are unable to send their bright children to secondary school are also affected. They end up"
