"content": "brought down. I want to assure Kenyans that no matter what, this House will stand by the Jubilee Government to ensure that its manifesto is implemented to the letter. Hon. Speaker, Sir, the antics that I saw here today are really worrying. There were hon. Members standing up and singing, “Bado Mapambano” . I have never in the history of this nation seen anything like that. I want to state here clearly and categorically that if that is the caliber of Members of Parliament that were brought in by some people then that clearly gives the reason why they failed in the first place. I want to appeal to my colleagues who are here, it is our duty and responsibility to help the Government achieve its manifesto. Politics is over. It is over! Until five years are over we cannot go back to politics. It is time to understand that we do not have an election tomorrow or next year. We have to understand that this country belongs to all of us so that we move it forward. Those whose intentions are to bring down the Jubilee Government, I can assure you, will have to wait a long time, indeed. Hawawezi make! With those few remarks, I want to thank you all and appeal to the Kenyan public to ignore the antics they saw here today because it was not about the teachers; rather it was about some specific people whose interest is power, power, power and nothing but power."
