It is also important to note that in this country, our universities have been preparing personnel to deal with disasters, but they are not properly engaged. Therefore, their expertise is under-utilized. I support this Motion and request the Government to ensure that there is speedy establishment of a Disaster Management Authority, and creation of policies to deal with disasters. I beg to support."
