"content": "Part of the reason why I feel quite passionate about this Motion is, first of all, for hon. Members to understand what happens as Members of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) group of States, as well as our partnership and joint parliament with the EU, it is important for hon. Members to understand some of the things that are discussed at that level. Currently, Kenya holds the presidency of the ACP and I am currently the President of that body. I want to declare interest that this Motion was brought long before I was holding that position and that, I am not speaking here as the President of ACP but as a concerned Kenyan who is a Member of Parliament. I need to make that point clear!"
