The issue that this House must deal with is the extent to which the Constitution has been applied in some of these nominations which come from the President’s office and we as a Committee are alive to it. We captured it and it is contained in the recommendations. The Committee noted that the upper echelons of the State Law Office seem not to reflect regional balance and it is hoped that the appointing authority will ensure that this balance is addressed. This is something that the National Assembly as well as the Executive will have to deal with one day."
